1. What personal information we may collect about you

We may collect personal information directly from you, automatically through your use of the Services and from other third-party sources. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may combine the information we collect from publicly available or third-party sources.

 Personal information we collect directly from you. The personal information we collect varies depending on your use of our Services and our interactions with you. In general, we may collect the following personal information directly from you:

  •  Contact information and other identifiers. When you contact us, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect information, such as your full name, email address, date of birth, country of residence and the nature of your inquiry and other information you choose to provide. We may also collect other personal information and identifiers you choose to provide.

  •  Consumer wearable pulse oximeter (“Connected Device”) related data: device identifier. The Connected Device will be connected to your smart device (for example, phone or tablet) and the Service via Bluetooth® wireless technology.

  •  Health information. We may collect information related to your health, such as medical conditions, Oxygen saturation (SpO₂) levels, Oxygen Desaturation Index (ODI), and heart rate.

  •  CPAP usage information. If you use a CPAP machine, we collect your CPAP machine’s serial number and self-reported information about your use of the machine, such as whether you used it while sleeping the previous night. If you participate in a study, we may use your device serial number to link you to the study and process your related data as described in the consent you provide when enrolling in the study.

  •  Sleep-related data collected through our questions and journal functions. When you engage with such functions, we may collect personal information you voluntarily share with us through questionnaires and your sleep journal.

  •  Account information. If you register for an account with us, we collect your name, email address, date of birth, password, unique username (for example, the App username and Okta username), account settings and details, time zone, country access location and any other information used to create or access your account.

  •  Communications and interactions. When you email, call or otherwise communicate or interact with members of our team, we collect and maintain records of your contact details, the communication and our response. If you speak with us by phone, with your consent, we may collect call recordings for quality assurance and training purposes.

  •  Responses and feedback. If you participate in our surveys or questionnaires, we collect your responses and feedback related to user satisfaction, preferences, demographic information (age, gender, medical history), information related to your use of our Services and any other information you provide.

  •  Marketing and promotions. If you agree to receive marketing communications from us, we collect your email, name, preferences and, if relevant, information about your account and the Services and features you use. If you participate in promotions we offer, we collect your name and other information related to the activities available through our Services.

  •  Other information. Depending on how you use and interact with the App, we may provide additional disclosures and collect additional information, including health and wellness information that you choose to share via the App.

  •  Preferences. We also may collect information about your preferences, including communications preferences, preferences related to your use and engagement with our Services and other preferences related to your interactions with us.

 Personal information we collect automatically. We, and our service providers, may automatically collect personal information related to your use of our Services, such as:

  •  Sleep and settings data from your Connected Device. The Service may collect information about your sleep patterns, such as oxygen saturation (SpO₂) levels, Oxygen Desaturation Index (ODI), heart rate and related indicators of sleep quality.

  •  Activities and usage. We also collect activity information related to your use of the Services, such as clickstream data, searches, features used, items viewed, time spent within the Services, your interactions with us within the Services and other activity and usage information.

  •  Location information. We may also collect or derive broad geographic location (for example, country- or city-level location) information about you, such as through your IP address.

  •  Device and browsing information. We collect certain information automatically from your smart device (for example, phone or tablet) via using tracking technology. Specifically, the information we collect automatically may include information, such as your IP address, Connected Device type, Connected Device identifier, operating system version, the dates on which you access and use the Service, user behavior (such as your interactions with the Service), and other technical information.

 Personal information we collect from other sources. We may also collect or obtain personal information about you through our affiliates, subsidiaries, business partners and from other third-party sources, including public databases, data analytics providers, internet service providers, operating systems and platforms and other vendors and service providers who provide services on our behalf.
